We won our first wind energy project in Patagonia

Our subsidiary Enel Green Power Argentina was awarded its first renewable energy project in the province of Chubut, very close to Comodoro Rivadavia, Argentina.

It is a wind farm of 100 MW, called Pampa, which we will begin to develop this 2018.

The estimated investment for this work is around 130 million dollars and includes the installation of 28 wind turbines.

The right to build the Pampa wind farm was awarded to us in Round 2 of the tender for renewable energy, launched within the scope of the RenovAr Program, the official plan of the Argentine Ministry of Energy for the development of clean energy.

This award is part of the extension of the capacity awarded in the tender to 1,800 MW of 1,200 MW. Pampa, located in the province of Chubut –with many wind resources-, will be Enel's first wind project in the country.
