Edesur's value chain consists of the 10.000 families who work with us, direct employment, contractors and suppliers of goods and services. All of them make up a huge network of people who work every day to maintain and improve the 32.500 km of electrical network.
Our supplier base is essentially PYMEs, with a strong commitment to local employment. There are about 400 small and medium-sized companies, of which just over 80% are located in the Federal Capital and Greater Buenos Aires.
In 2019 we injected $24.606 million into the real economy. This is the amount that we allocate to salaries, materials, services and investments (taxes, energy purchase, interest or depreciation are not recorded).
That is to say, investment in work of the entire chain that extends in AMBA, interior of the Province of Buenos Aires, Córdoba, Mendoza, Catamarca, Salta and Entre Ríos.
