Enel Green Power Argentina and Jujuy Province sign agreement to develop Solar Park in puna area

Buenos Aires, February 6th, 2017 – Enel Green Power Argentina, Enel’s local renewable energy subsidiary, has signed an agreement with the Province of Jujuy for the development of a photovoltaic solar project with around 100 MW of installed capacity. The project will be located at an altitude of more than 4,000 metres in the province’s Puna area, which boasts Argentina’s highest levels of solar radiation.The agreement was signed by Maurizio Bezzeccheri, Enel’s Country Manager in Argentina, José María Palomares, Head of the province’s mining company Jujuy Energía y Minera Sociedad del Estado, Gastón Morales, Secretary of Legal and Institutional Affairs at the Jujuy Province and Marcelo Fernández, Chairman of the Development Bank of the Jujuy Province.

This project, which is the fruit of collaboration between the public and private sectors, is subject to the award of a long-term energy supply contract. The agreement provides for the ooperation between Enel Green Power Argentina and Jujuy, and regards the hiring of local labour and technology transfer with the aim of contributing to the socio-economic development of the province.

Enel S.p.A. provides for the dissemination to the public of regulated information by using SDIR NIS, managed by BIt Market Services, a London Stock Exchange Group's company, with registered office at Milan, Piazza degli Affari, 6. For the storage of regulated information made available to the public, Enel S.p.A. has adhered, as from July 1st, 2015 to the authorized mechanism denominated “NIS-Storage”, available at the address www.emarketstorage.com, managed by the above mentioned BIt Market Services S.p.A. and authorized by CONSOB with the resolution No. 19067 of November 19th, 2014. From May 19th 2014 to June 30th 2015 Enel S.p.A. used the authorized mechanism for the storage of regulated information denominated “1Info”, available at the address www.1info.it, managed by Computershare S.p.A. with registered office in Milan and authorized by CONSOB with resolution No. 18852 of April 9th, 2014
