On September 1, 2017 our distributor Edesur turned 25 years old.
It is a commemoration with great significance for the multinational Enel in Argentina, as it happens in moments of important changes in the organization, which are already positively impacting the quality of the service received by our customers.
These changes include the increase in investments in works in the low, medium and high voltage networks, as well as the incorporation of advanced technology such as smart meters, which will allow the reading of consumption in real time and, in the near future, the possibility that the customer can sell the energy.
Other advances are directly related to Enel's goal of putting the customer at the center. A 360 vision that seeks to better understand the needs of each client and offer solutions tailored to them. Today, the preferences of our customers are vital to the organization.
Edesur has 16 commercial offices distributed in the 3,304 km2 of the concession area, and commercial channels (both digital and telephone and in person) that facilitate the management of 2 million 524 thousand 494 customers.
The distributor operates in two thirds of the Buenos Aires City and 12 municipalities of Buenos Aires Metropolitan Area, with an extension of the electric network of 26 thousand 284 kilometers.
In total, more than 4,200 employees of Edesur work every day to bring users a quality electrical service and respond to customers' requests in the shortest possible time. These more than 4 thousand people are those who today are proud of the task they perform and commit to continue working to achieve a better quality of service.
