Enel X installed 116 solar panels and 3 SMA Inverters on two terraces that OSDE has at its Parque Patricios Headquarters, Autonomous City of Buenos Aires, with an approximate surface of 363 m2.
It is a turnkey project, which means that Enel X carried out the entire process. This covered logistics, engineering, labor, provision of supplies, execution of work, and start-up.
In this way, Enel X accompanies OSDE in its decision to incorporate sustainable energy into its buildings. Additionally, Enel X offers plant maintenance services.
The solar panels were oriented to the north with an inclination angle of 15°. In this sense, the effect of shadows was taken into account when sizing the installation.
The total installed power is 46.4 kW, which will represent an estimated annual generation of 69.6 MWh.
In addition to the photovoltaic installation project, Enel X managed the corresponding procedures to allow OSDE to inject into the network. This represents a cost reduction for the customer in electricity bills.
To achieve this, OSDE installed a bidirectional meter and injects surplus energy generated into the network. The surplus energy is then sold to the energy distributor.
On the other hand, the project has a real-time tracking monitoring system, which is included within the facilities. Through this system, it is possible to access and know the generation of the panels in real-time, which provides a reduction in maintenance costs. In addition, this technology can effectively detect possible production problems in system elements remotely.
The innovative system is available on the app and web platform for the user and Enel X.
